The annual VietNamVets Motorcycle Club "Poker Run" was held again and named 'Support~A~Soldier' as its charity of choice. There were over 60 bikers and 5 stops on a sunny but somewhat windy afternoon. Once again, they raised a significant amount of money for our cause. As always...... a HeartFelt ThankYou to my Brothers for supporting us again this year. You all have Hearts of Gold and you continue to amaze me with your outpouring of concern, money, time and devotion to our troops. I LOVE YOU ALL!

On Sunday, June 8 2008 ~ The Colorado VietNam Vets Motorcycle Club Chapter C held a fundraiser to raise money for SupportASoldier Clearinghouse. It was more than a success! It began and ended at SweetWater Station in Westminster. The time and energy and love these guys put into this cause for us was absolutely beyond my belief and wildest imagination! The turnout was phenominal. There was sun and fun and high energy and music/ raffle tickets/ awesome prizes and food and drink and smiles -- all day long and into the evening.
Hats off and much admiration to the VNVMC..... I LOVE YOU GUYS! A special mention and HeartFelt ThankYou to Dane, Hollywood, Houdini, Ryder and numerous other fellas that worked so hard behind the scenes for weeks to make this happen.
AND
My Sincere Thanks and Hugs to a very special man who dedicated himself for months to this cause..... he put in countless hours and energy in collecting thousands of dollars worth of merchandise for raffle prizes/ advertising for the PokerRun & Support A Soldier. His heart is as big as the world and I want to acknowledge "BIG DADDY" of SweetWater Station. YOU ROCK MY FRIEND!
